Roof Repair

 

The Carriage Barn was built ca. 1877 by Captain James Penfield. It currently houses several carriages, including a hearse and the Penfield's carriage that took them back and forth to Boston.

The roof is in desperate need of repair. There are several small holes in the roof and shingles need to be replaced. In the near future, the entrance door, seen in this photo will need some repair as the weather has begun to take its toll on the wood. We are currently working on fundraising projects to try to raise the $5,000 necessary to do the repairs. Donations may be sent to:
